I am a recent graduate of Ball State University, I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising (concentrating in journalism) and a minor in Sociology. I spent my time in undergrad completing multiple internships- including spending over a year as a Content Marketing Intern with First Merchants Bank. I also worked with multiple nonprofits local to the Harrison County IN area.

I spent additional time in undergrad working for the Ball State Daily News, an award winning publication. I spent multiple years an a Digital Managing Editor and Social Media editor for the DN, focusing my time on making news content accessible and engaging for younger and more digital audiences. I led the planning and creation of yearly Mental Health and LGBTQ+ special editions- editions of the paper aimed to create awareness around mental health issues in Gen Z and the news uplifting the LGBTQ+ community in a conservative community. I spearheaded multiple election news teams, interviewing gubernatorial candidates. I have also freelanced as a reporter for Mirror Indy, Indiana Capital Chronicle, and Free Press Indiana

Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Emerging Media, Design, and Development from Ball State with an expected graduation of May 2027. I am currently a Social Media Marketing Graduate Assistant for Ball State Online and Ball State Department of Online and Strategic Learning. In this role, I have started a TikTok and Instagram from nothing, creating meme-able content to promote younger students to consider pursuing higher education online.

I hope to pursue a career in media design and content creation with the goal and passion to empower and educate diverse and vulnerable communities through innovative design.
